VIVATURF Artificial Grass Faq

1. About the materials, they are now in our land that is designate for the project. Is there any problem if the material gets wet by the rain?
It does not matter if the materials get wet by rain. But, when you join synthetic grass roll seams, you need to make sure the grass edges and joint tape are dry enough. If the grass edges and joint tape are not dry enough, they will be not so easy to joint together.
After you unfold the grass rolls, you could first cut out the useless part, then, wait until the grass edges are dry, you could make the materials dry under the sun. And, the joint tape should also be dry when you joining the seams.
2. What the minimal equipments or tools should we use for artificial turf installation?
For the installation tool and equipment, we recommend you use our grass cutting tools and sand-filling machine.
3. Are the yarns flame retardant?
Special flame retardant additives can be added to the grass yarns to enhance the flame retardant properties of the yarns however flame redundancy should be considered for the synthetic grass surface as a whole and not individual component parts.
4. How does the yarn perform under extreme temperatures?
Under normal climatic conditions (-10° Celsius to +40° Celsius) yarn will perform under the typical yarn warranty. Polyethylene is far more stable under severe temperatures, for example polypropylene can become brittle below freezing point.
