Why synthetic turf

As we have seen, there are several generations of artificial grass. Interestingly, the original synthetic turf was glued to the surface of the ground, it was the grass of fibrillated fibers, the shortcomings of which we have already mentioned.

Artificial grass fibers are made of polyethylene or polypropylene, and many manufacturers of artificial grass used a combination of polyethylene and polypropylene fibers to improve the quality of artificial grass. The grass fibers which are made of polypropylene to the touch tighter, that gives players a fall on the grass discomfort. 

Polyethylene fibers are softer to the touch, but they have their drawbacks. For example, the artificial grass fibers which are made of polyethylene is very slippery, which is also in the game can be a lot of unpleasant moments. But it is worth noting that the artificial grass, polyethylene fibers, although it is much more expensive, can withstand large temperature changes (from-50C to +50 C), which is not the polypropylene fibers.

 When purchasing a synthetic turf, most of us immediately draws attention to its thickness. Also, if the artificial grass has a thick pile, it soon turns into a very dense and hard grass carpet.
