So, first came up with the production of the coating that resembles a carpet. It was a grass synthetic yarns with low pile. She stuck to the surface of substrate and covered with sand.
Later it was called grass cover of the first generation. The disadvantage was the lack of strength and low playing comfort. Technology continues to look for new opportunities. The second generation was grass, backfill with sand, with a higher pile. Polypropylene fibers are generally more stringent than those of polyethylene, which causes burns in the fall to cover the players. Polyethylene fiber is softer and more slippery. Falling on the coating of polyethylene will not burns and abrasions that could get in the fall for polypropylene coating.
