Installation of artificial turf
Preparations
The land where the turf will be installed must be leveled as regularly as possible according to the model of the plane, that is to say, level, or as provided gradients.
garden
The best base for artificial turf is stabilized, but it is not always necessary.
The main advantage of stabilized is that weeds do not grow on the stabilized and the surface is too hard for moles.
If the ground in your garden is good quality, subsidence, without moles ... artificial turf can be laid on the ground. First remove the top layer, add sand to clay 1.5 to 2 cm below the desired level and straighten. Now the ground is ready for the installation of artificial turf.
Provide azobé posts in each corner and both feet on the sides. They must be at the same height to fix the fabric and artificial turf.
Make sure that there are no more holes, crevices and other inequalities.
Balcony / roof terrace
To cover a balcony or roof of turf, it is important that there is good drainage. That is why we also expect white geotextile drainage also protects against high temperatures.
Pose
Geotextile
A geotextile is always placed below an artificial turf, it distributes pressure, prevents weed growth and increases the damping effect in the case of an installation on stabilized. Unroll the fabric, cut pieces and attach to studs with nails in azobé. Tip: spray water on the fabric so that it attaches to the floor and does not move when you lay the turf.
After cutting the fabric and asked, unroll the rolls of artificial turf. Position fibers and follow the chosen direction during the course.
The ideal is that the fibers are inclined to the place where you watch most your garden, because you get the best effect by looking directly into the fibers (they are pointing in your direction), do not have to look back fibers .
Cutting
Custom cutting and edge finishing are using a good sharp knife (eg Stanley knife). First cut the edge of the primary web along the second row of wire.
It is best to cut the back, between the loops of fiber on the lawn, the least possible damage to the fibers.
Allow extra 5cm you can cut once installation is complete.
Leave a gap of 1 mm, because the turf relaxes after a few days, and if you leave more space you will see the ground ... Repeat for all other joints.
Paste
Place the adhesive strip on the strips.
Once the cutting is completed and the artificial turf at the desired position the two-component adhesive is mixed with a hand blender. The glue is then transferred in small amounts to facilitate the distribution of the bonding strip.
The distribution of the glue is a glue comb, it is recommended to use plastic gloves.
Excess adhesive can pass through the seals and the perforations and be deposited between the fibers. It is therefore necessary to immediately remove the glue residue.
Warning: the glue hardens quickly and can not be used in wet weather!
Fold the strips of turf on the joints and apply the edges so that they join perfectly. It is easier to do two.
Walk at least three times the length of the joints in order to properly apply the adhesive on the lawn.
